Hailey Brett Henderson

Hailey Brett Henderson was saved on July 7, 1996 and went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2019 at the young age of 30.  Hailey was a wild flower, beautiful, colorful, and spontaneous.

Hailey was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on August 31, 1989.  She graduated from Amber High School in 2007 and was a certified surgical tech following graduation.  Hailey worked at Anadarko Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, Deaconess Hospital, and finally found her home at Ross and Henderson, PLLC.  Hailey loved to binge watch television shows late at night and hang out with friends.  Hailey was a survivor of domestic abuse and participated in the “Together We Heel” walk this past October.

Hailey is survived by her daughter Harper Bretlee who she shared a love of sloths with.  She is survived by parents Brett & Jamie Henderson, sister Whitney, brother Brock, and one niece who she adored liked no other, Presley Kae; grandparents James & Myrtle Elston and Wilma Odom;  aunts Pam Voss, Tina & Doug Black of Chickasha, & Shelley Henderson; cousins Kim & Josh Emerson, Crystal & Randy Irwin, Kara & Zack Thomas, Heath & Bethany Bush, Jimmie Lea & Andrew Jones, Ashlie & Cody White, Meagan & Casey Howard, Jaycie & Justin Jones, and Caitlin Henderson, as well as several other cousins & their children.

Hailey was preceded in death by grandparents J.W. Henderson, Lynn Odom, & Della Gassaway, and uncles Mark & Jay Henderson.

The funeral service will be held at Bible Baptist Church Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Justin Bray officiating.  Committal prayers & interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.   Casket bearers will be Doug Black, Heath Bush, Casey Howard, Randy Irwin, Patrick Tharpe, and Zack Thomas.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Hailey Henderson may be sent to Intervention & Crisis Advocacy Network, PO Box 1539, Chickasha, OK 73023.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their support, contributions, and love in the celebration of Hailey’s life.

Viewing will be at the McRay Funeral Home from 9am to 7pm on Friday, with the family being present from 4pm to 7pm to greet friends.

Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.

Aline Vogel McMahan

Funeral service for Aline Vogel McMahan, age 92, will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 23, 2019, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.

Aline was born February 18, 1927 at Union City, OK.  She was the youngest of three daughters born to Dona J. Vogel and Ben Rudolph Vogel.  She died December 21, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Aline graduated in 1945 from Union City High School, then attended O.C.W. graduating in 1949.  May 29, 1948 Aline married Bill D. McMahan at the Union City United Methodist Church.  They made their home east of Chickasha for the next 45 years.

Aline’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren remained one of her most enduring pleasures throughout her life.  She enjoyed being a homemaker.  Aline was a long time member of Epworth United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Wedding Ring Sunday School Class.  She enjoyed volunteering at the church.  She also enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, and growing flowers.

Aline was preceded in death by her husband Bill in 1995.   She was also preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Gwendine, older sister Donna Marie Boevers, and nephew Bennie Bob Boevers

Survivors include daughters Pamela Powers and husband Jim of Winston Salem, NC and Patricia Williams and husband Duane of McKinney, TX; son William F. McMahan of Chickasha, OK; three grandchildren, Brian Powers and wife Gina, Amanda Rucker and husband Brian, and Evan Williams and wife Sara; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jackson Powers, Caroline and Carson Rucker, and Hayden Williams; niece Janet Shaw; and other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of McRay Funeral Home.

Earl Samuel Cox, Jr.

Viewing for Earl Samuel Cox, Jr., formerly of Verden, will be 2-5pm Sunday, December 22, 2019 at McRay Funeral Home.  Earl was born January 11, 1927 in Pocasset.  He died December 11, 2019 in Fresno, CA.  There are no services.
